Shifts.

Today, in Vancouver the weather has shifted so many times. First it started out calm, overcast, humid, with some drizzling rain.

Then it shifted to cloudy, with no rain, still calm.

Then the wind picked up and the gusts are so strong that they shake my balcony doors and the wind gusts through the cracks into my apartment.

Then it was windy and bright with the sun shining through the clouds.

Then windy and pouring rain.

Ten minutes later, windy with sun peaking through the clouds and giant ocean waves.

I’m not sure what will come next or how the weather will shift next.

Days like today remind me that nothing is permanent and to take what comes when it comes. Accept it and work with it, whatever it may be. Allow it to be. I appreciate the beauty and fullness of each moment.
