Day 2 of road trip.
Today was a day.
I was grumpy from a broken nights sleep. I was so tired and ache.
The bus was absolutely full.
There were quite a few people that were inebrieted - alcohol or drugs or both.
People were being loud and abnoxious.
There were a couple families with kids on board.
I just wasn’t having any of it.
Thankfully the guy sitting beside me was only there for a couple hours before he got off at his destination.
I started to feel a bit more spaciousness. I had a solid nap and everything looked and felt better after that.
I saw different wildlife today - some deer and lots and lots of cows. The cows and baby cows were sitting on the grass. I was told this meant that it will rain, but it didn’t rain that same day. We might have travelled away from it though.
That’s where all the AAA grade beef comes from. Alberta cow. Yum.
The cows did look happy. They had never ending pastures to graze on.
I woke up in Canmore at sunrise. And it’s a beautiful mountain town. I’m not sure what the elevation is, but you’re practically at the tree line. The tree line is the point on a mountain where the trees stop growing because of the high altitude.
We arrived in Regina and needed to get off so that the driver could clean the bus. So many people took poops in the toilet that the smelled like shit. I could almost taste it.
I met two women on the bus that I had lovely conversations with.
The next thing I knew I was waking up and we were in Winnipeg. The sunrise was beautiful and that was the beginning of day 3.
